Rosgvardia Director Zolotov Tests Kalashnikov's Latest RPL-20 Light Machine Gun

He was presented with AK-12K, AK-12SK assault rifles, SVCh rifle, and a line of Lebedev pistols at the training ground

Director of the Federal National Guard Troops Service (Rosgvardia), Viktor Zolotov, personally tested the latest 5.45 mm RPL-20 light machine gun, the Kalashnikov Group press service reported.

Promising models of small arms, tested in combat conditions, were shown as part of special Rosgvardia exercises. The presentation was conducted by Sergey Urzhumtsev, Chief Designer for Small Arms at Kalashnikov.

Zolotov was also shown the shortened AK-12K assault rifle and the small-sized AK-12SK assault rifle, the Kalashnikov PPK-20 submachine gun, the Chukavin sniper rifle (SVCh), and a line of Lebedev pistols.

The Rosgvardia has adopted the full-size AK-12 assault rifle of the 2023 model, MPL and MPL1.
