Ростех объяснил необычный серебристый окрас импортозамещённого SJ-100

The airframe needs to be protected from atmospheric precipitation and ultraviolet radiation

The fully import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft received an unusual silver color that has not been used before. The Rostec State Corporation explained this choice of the liner's color.

The state corporation noted that in order to speed up the production of serial aircraft and start deliveries after receiving a type certificate, a large production backlog was formed at the Yakovlev PJSC facilities.

Therefore, some of the airframes in a high degree of readiness are currently in storage.

On Friday, August 5, the first flight was made by the import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft with number 97004. The aircraft is equipped with fully domestic systems and units, including PD-8 engines.

Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK Found a Way to Reduce the Weight of the PD-8 Aircraft Engine for SJ-100 and Be-200 Aircraft.
