The import substitution program has become a reason for PJSC "Yakovlev" to carry out a complete technical re-equipment of production facilities with Russian equipment, said Andrey Soynov, director of the "Regional Aircraft" branch.
According to him, aircraft builders are already assembling new machines in a Russian guise on a new, fully domestic assembly stand.
For us, the import substitution program is not only a new modification of the aircraft in the production line, but also a serious technical re-equipment for Russian equipment.
On Friday, August 5, the first flight was made by the import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft with number 97004. The aircraft is equipped with domestic systems and units, including PD-8 engines.
Currently, the SJ-100 aircraft import substitution program is entering the stage of launching mass production.
Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK has found a way to reduce the weight of the PD-8 aircraft engine for SJ-100 and Be-200 airliners.
