The Impuls-Atom plant has presented innovative equipment for Russian Railways (RZD). This was reported by the manufacturer's press service.
Today we checked how our device connects to the equipment of the ED4M electric train.
Russian radio components were used to create the complex. Currently, specialists are writing firmware for microcontrollers, ensuring the compatibility of the new equipment with the already installed one. A prototype has been assembled. The connection schemes are being adjusted and measurements are being calibrated, the indicator panel is ready for use.
The new device will display train control data directly on the windshield. This will improve the safety of railway transportation.
