"SMM" company delivered the second "Narval" portal crane to Murmansk Fish Port. This is the first model of reloading equipment in Russia, specially designed for operation in fish ports. The machine has been tested and prepared for commissioning.
The new "Narval" will increase the company's capacity and speed up cargo handling, which will be an important step in updating the port's technical base. The delivery of the third crane of this series is expected by the end of September.
The crane has a boom reach of up to 32 meters and a lifting capacity of 6 tons throughout the entire operating range. The design distributes the load in such a way that the pressure on the berth structure does not exceed 20 tons per support wheel.
The use of modern reloading cranes will enhance the competitiveness of the Murmansk Fish Port and increase the efficiency of its operation in the face of growing cargo turnover.
