Footage has appeared online of the Russian Orlan-30 aircraft-type UAV, converted into a mother ship and repeater for a pair of FPV drones.
Strike copters were placed under the three-meter wing of the drone, and equipment for transmitting a radio signal is located in the fuselage.
The use of repeaters ensures stable image quality from radio-controlled FPV drones when striking ground targets. The airborne carrier not only extends the range of the copters, but also saves battery power, increasing the time to complete the task.
Orlan-30 is an improved version of the Orlan-10 aircraft-type UAV. Flight duration has been increased to 18 hours.
Another feature is the integration of the drone into the fire control system of the Msta-S self-propelled gun, the drone is able to transmit the coordinates of detected targets directly to the gun and adjust its fire.
