Rostec Ready to Begin Supplying MC-21, SJ-100, and Il-114-300 Abroad

But the state corporation's priority is the needs of the domestic aviation market

Rostec will be able to supply civilian aircraft to other countries in the future, but the domestic market is currently the priority, according to the general director of the state corporation, Sergey Chemezov.

According to him, domestic airliners will definitely find buyers abroad.

The components are entirely ours, and so is the production. We are more predictable, and the world knows us as reliable partners who keep their word. For now, our priority is still the domestic market.
Sergey Chemezov, General Director of Rostec

Chemezov noted that the main advantage of Russian aircraft is their complete independence from imports.

The West is imposing more and more sanctions against various countries: Syria, Iran, China. There are even occasional sparks in relations between the US and the EU.

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) completed the assembly of the last experienced import-substituted MC-21 aircraft in the line at the end of July, and acceptance tests of the aircraft have begun.

More than 20 import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft are also in various stages of readiness.
