Программно-аппаратный комплекс для автоматизации производства Factory director разработали в МФТИ

The new system has already been implemented at a Russian enterprise

Students of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) have created a hardware and software complex Factory Director for the automation of industrial enterprises. The system allows you to control equipment and personnel, predict the need for maintenance and analyze production processes. In May 2025, it was introduced at one of the Russian tea factories.

Factory Director combines production management functions, including equipment monitoring, data collection and report generation. The system reduces employee training time through built-in instructions and prompts, and also helps identify the causes of downtime. Data is processed in real time, which allows you to quickly make management decisions.

The complex consists of hardware (data collection devices and servers) and software (a web interface with individual settings for different employees). The developers used Docker, Django, React technologies and several database management systems, including PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.

Such solutions can make work safer and more comfortable: the system suggests actions, reduces routine tasks and helps to quickly eliminate problems.

The project received a grant of 1 million rubles following the results of the "Create OURS" competition. In the future, the team plans to add artificial intelligence to the system for further automation of production processes.
