KAMAZ presented new models of K5 series trucks, focused on the needs of farmers, at the 12th Open Russian Championship in plowing in the Leningrad Region.
The key exhibit was the KAMAZ-653557 grain carrier dump truck with a TZA-589305 trailer. The vehicle is designed for transporting grain and other bulk crops. It is made with a 6x2 wheel arrangement with a lifting rear axle.
The platform, measuring 6800x2540x1700 mm, accommodates 28 cubic meters of cargo with a carrying capacity of 17.6 tons. The design is characterized by low weight with high strength, sandblasting, and two-layer painting.
The 34 cubic meter trailer provides unloading on three sides, a tight connection of the sides, and reliable locks. Its carrying capacity reaches 18.5 tons with a gross weight of 24 tons.
The KAMAZ-65658F grain carrier dump truck with the 85300A trailer was also shown. The box-type platform is made of 3 mm thick 09G2S steel. The platform size is 6800x2420x1500 mm, the volume is 25.2 cubic meters, and the carrying capacity is 16.66 tons.
The trailer with extension sides holds up to 60.9 cubic meters, and the total carrying capacity of the road train exceeds 36 tons.
