Russian military personnel have begun using the portable electronic warfare (EW) system "Kapyushon" to suppress enemy drones, according to a motorcycle platoon soldier with the call sign Taxist.

According to him, motorcyclists are mobile enough to elude drone attacks. The "Kapyushon" systems are tied directly to the back.

The "Kapyushon" is powered from the vehicle's on-board network with a voltage of 12V or 24V. The operating range of the device is 300m from the protected object. The devices can be made in a moisture-proof and shockproof case, often in the form of a dome to ensure omnidirectional suppression.
