"Pile of metal": craftsmen created an all-terrain vehicle based on "Niva" to replace weak Chinese buggies

The "Korotyshka" car allows you to perform combat missions with minimal risk

A new multi-purpose all-terrain vehicle "Korotyshka" has been developed in Russia based on a regular three-door "Niva". The car retained all-wheel drive and familiar reliability, but received important improvements.

The cabin became two-seater, and the rear of the body was equipped with a special side, increasing the usable area. An additional reinforced grille can withstand up to 500 kg of dynamic load, allowing two or three people to be transported in a lying position.

The sides and floor are reinforced with reinforced nets, eliminating the sliding of passengers on off-road. "Korotyshka" also received a reinforced bumper and a remote towing lug with a maximum load of up to 10 tons.

The development became possible after realizing that the previously purchased Chinese buggies were unreliable.

Their resource is no more than 2000 km, after which the car turns into a pile of metal. There are no spare parts, fuel consumption is up to 20 liters, maintenance is difficult. And "Niva", even with a full load and a trailer, consumes 14-16 liters.

Another critical disadvantage of Chinese all-terrain vehicles is a weak generator that does not allow even basic electronic warfare equipment to be installed. In "Korotyshka", the problem was solved by reworking the wiring and installing a 110 amp generator.

Earlier www1.ru reported that containerized EW "Talisman" for Su-30SM and MiG-29BM was developed in Belarus.
