The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has announced a competition for the execution of experimental design work (EDW) to create a passenger hydrofoil vessel made of composite materials. The cost of the upcoming work is estimated at 660 million rubles, according to the website of public procurement.
In 2025, 90 million rubles will be allocated for development, in 2026 — 460 million rubles, and in 2027 — 110 million rubles. Applications for the execution of EDW are accepted until August 25.
The design of the vessel involves the use of components of domestic production, which will ensure high localization, and, along with it, high-quality service and warranty maintenance. The concept of the developed vessel incorporates the principle of modular design of the final product.
