Новое ПО для анализа активности мозга разработано в НГТУ

Software will help in the diagnosis of diseases

A new software for analyzing electroencephalography (EEG) has been created at Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU). The development of scientists will be used in medical laboratories and clinics for the diagnosis of various diseases.

The EEG method allows you to study the electrical activity of the brain using electrodes attached to the head. They help to identify epilepsy, tumors and the effects of stroke.

The developed software identifies and classifies patterns of brain activity in response to external stimuli, such as images and sounds. It creates an individual user profile, recording EEG signals and responses to stimuli.

The software is written in Python and has machine learning algorithms. The software processes EEG recordings, determining which stimulus caused a particular reaction. The analysis results are stored in a database, which simplifies further work with information.

The development of NNSU specialists can significantly improve the diagnosis and understanding of the brain, which is important for medicine and neuroscience.
