Hope of Russian Small Aviation: VK-800SM Engine Shown for the First Time at the Engine Test Station

The future of three aircraft depends on the development of the power plant

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Anton Alikhanov, visited the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA), where he was shown the operation of the enterprise's engine test station, where the latest turboprop VK-800SM engine is being tested.

The Minister inspected the heavy engine production workshop and a new multifunctional production complex created for work with regional aviation aircraft TVRS-44 "Ladoga", LMS-901 "Baikal" and the UTS-800 training aircraft.

Currently, the first fuselage of the Ladoga turboprop regional aircraft is being worked on in the new multifunctional production complex of JSC UZGA — the aircraft will be equipped with functional units and systems.
