A plant for the production of photo and video recording systems has been launched in Novosibirsk. The start of its operation was the result of a large-scale investment project of the company "Record Industrial Automation Plant" LLC. The project is expected to last from 2024 to 2025, during which 60 new jobs will be created and 700 million rubles will be invested.
The "Record" plant specializes in the design and assembly of telecommunication systems. Since 2021, the company has been producing systems for photo and video recording of traffic violations, as well as detectors for monitoring traffic flows and intelligent traffic light control systems. Previously, such production facilities were concentrated only in the western part of Russia.
The main goal of the new enterprise is to meet the needs of the Siberian Federal District in modern equipment for traffic control. The project was approved at the Investment Council of the Novosibirsk Region on April 17, 2024, and the Ministry of Economic Development of the region assisted in the selection of a land plot for the plant.
Since its launch this year, the plant has already produced 105 video surveillance systems worth 556.5 million rubles, and no equipment failures have been recorded. The plant actively cooperates with local universities, such as NSU and NSTU, and has already employed two graduates. The company plans to organize targeted training for students.
The plant intends to reach full design capacity by 2029, creating a total of about 100 jobs. Annual tax deductions are expected to be about 130 million rubles, which will be a significant contribution to the region's economy.
