The "Ruselectronics" holding, part of the Rostec State Corporation, has announced the release of a new line of photo modules that significantly outperform foreign designs in terms of characteristics and reliability. The new devices have improved mechanical and climatic performance and can be used in various fields.
Among the new products are photo modules created using CMOS technology. The devices meet the strict requirements of the Ministry of Defense and are capable of operating in a wide spectral range from 400 to 900 nanometers, providing high-quality images at any time of the day. The resolution of the photo modules is 1280 by 1024 pixels.
If we compare with direct competitors, we can note increased consumer properties, such as mechanical and climatic indicators and reliability characteristics, which significantly expands the scope of application of this product.
Earlier, Rostec had already presented the first domestic photo module based on silicon crystals with a resolution of 4 megapixels. The development features an increased service life compared to 8-megapixel counterparts and provides a clearer image than 2-megapixel modules.
Thanks to the CMOS technology used in the new devices, low power consumption is ensured. They become more efficient and economical to use.
