Russia to Increase Aircraft Production by 30% in 2025: Record Expected

UAC production growth ensured by military equipment output

In 2025, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will set a record for aircraft production. This was announced by the head of UAC, Vadim Badeha.

According to him, a growth of more than 30% is expected, and 2024 was also a record year.

This is mainly due to military equipment. The growth due to the "civilian" part will be later — technically, we are only now receiving certification for the aircraft.
Vadim Badeha, head of UAC

The head of UAC reminded that Russia is the only country in the world where a completely import-independent aircraft is produced. SJ-100 is one of the most "flying" aircraft.

Operators are very satisfied, the fleet's flight hours sometimes even exceed those of Airbus or Boeing. Passenger aircraft MC-21, SJ-100, Il-114-300 are at the decisive stage of testing. The production of serial machines is organized, the first ones will be produced this year.

Deliveries of fully domestic aircraft will start in 2026. UAC is working to reduce the cost of machines so that domestic aircraft become competitive in both domestic and foreign markets.

Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK Unveiled the Technology of "Growing" Blades for PD-8 and PD-14 Aircraft Engines.
