The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) is simultaneously developing and preparing to launch several large-scale projects on the market. The total amount of work can be described by the concept of "run, shoot and write a letter to my wife," said Vadim Badekha, head of UAC.
According to him, in the civil part of the corporation's production there are MC-21, SJ-100, Il-114-300 aircraft.
They are all at a crucial stage of testing, and their serial production is being prepared in parallel. There are no such analogues in the world. Boeing or Airbus are not working on several new models at the same time.
Badekha noted that this is happening on a low base of the civil aviation industry - in the 1990s, not only specific factories fell, but the entire chain of cooperation.
For a long time, it did not create anything in the civil sphere, it was necessary to restore competencies, to teach how to create modern civil aviation equipment that meets all international standards.
Growth due to the "civilian" part will come later - it's just that technically we are only now getting certification for aircraft. The production of serial machines has been organized, the first ones will be produced this year.
