Its carrier is the Tu-22M3 strategic bomber, and the mass of the warhead is 1000 kg with a flight range of up to 600 km. These characteristics make the missile an effective tool for performing complex combat missions.
The aircraft of the Tu-22M3 series are designed according to an aerodynamic scheme with a low-wing variable sweep wing. The aircraft structure is made of aluminum, titanium and magnesium alloys, as well as high-strength and heat-resistant steels.
