PD-8 Aircraft Engines for SJ-100 and PD-14 for MC-21 to Receive After-Sales Service

Rostec Platform Automates Support Processes for Power Plants

The United Engine Corporation (part of Rostec) has launched an IT system for after-sales support for the entire line of engines for new Russian civil aircraft.

The Rostec platform automates engine maintenance processes, recording their operating parameters to improve manufacturability and reliability.

The digital platform allows UEC specialists to monitor the operating parameters of power plants, and operators to quickly receive up-to-date technical documentation. This is part of a comprehensive after-sales service system being developed for domestic aircraft, which will begin to enter airlines in 2026.

The system is unified to work with different power plants, including the PD-14 for the MC-21, the PD-8 for the SJ-100, the TV7-117ST-01/02 for the "Ladoga," and the Il-114-300. The software has been successfully tested at UEC and its enterprises.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the hope of Russian aviation, "Ansat," demonstrated the ability to land in dense urban areas.
