In the first month after the start of production of Lada Iskra cars, the Pragmatika dealership network in the cities of the North-Western region of Russia recorded more than 150 requests from potential buyers. This interest is comparable to the level observed when the Lada Vesta model returned to the market in 2023.
Of the clients who applied, 40% expressed their willingness to purchase a car through the trade-in program, and 50% – with the involvement of a car loan. Applications have also been registered from large families who can count on a state subsidy of 10% of the car's cost. The audience consists mainly of long-time fans of the Lada brand, as well as those for whom Iskra may be the first car.
The greatest interest among buyers is in the Cross station wagon modification – it accounts for about half of all requests. This version is attractive for its versatility: it is suitable for both urban use and country trips thanks to increased ground clearance, a spacious trunk and a protective plastic body kit. The rest of the interest is distributed between the classic sedan and the regular station wagon.
The grand launch of the industrial production of Lada Iskra took place on April 19, 2025 — on the 55th anniversary of the release of the first car at AvtoVAZ. The official start of sales is scheduled for July 20, on the company's birthday.
