Russian artificial intelligence (AI) systems meet the best world standards, according to the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Gennady Krasnikov. According to him, Russia is on par with leading countries in this field.
Krasnikov noted that to achieve tangible results, it is necessary to develop computing power and create extensive databases for AI training. He emphasized that new mathematical methods can significantly improve data processing, even with limited computing resources. This has become possible thanks to the successes of Russian mathematicians, who have been able to increase the efficiency of existing computers.

The head of the Russian Academy of Sciences also pointed out the importance of a rapid transition to new generations of cellular communications, which will ensure instant interaction with supercomputers, which is critical for the development of AI.
