The "Roscosmos" State Corporation has published satellite images of the Hero City of Volgograd and the City of Labor Valor Novosibirsk, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The images were obtained from the Earth remote sensing satellite "Resurs-P" No. 5, which was launched into orbit on December 25, 2024 and put into operation on March 31, 2025.  
The "Resurs-P" No. 5 satellite is equipped with high-resolution optoelectronic equipment that allows you to obtain detailed images of the Earth's surface. It operates in a solar-synchronous orbit at an altitude of about 475 km and provides images with a resolution of up to 0.3 meters in panchromatic mode and up to 1 meter in multispectral mode.
The publication of images of Volgograd and Novosibirsk became part of a series of events organized by "Roscosmos" in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory. Earlier, as part of this initiative, space images of other cities associated with key events of the Great Patriotic War were presented, including St. Petersburg, taken on the Day of the Lifting of the Siege.
