The Russian main battle tank T-90M "Proryv" received seven hits from the Javelin man-portable anti-tank missile system on the battlefield and continued moving. This was reported by Dmitry, a mechanic at Uralvagonzavod.
The machine is crazy. It was shelled with "Javelins", there were six or seven hits. The machine drove away on its own, came to us on its own. The entire crew is safe and sound, without a single scratch.
Dmitry emphasized that the company makes good and practical machines so that they help the military in battle.
The T-90M is equipped with a completely new turret, which has significantly improved protection, allowed for the placement of new equipment, increased the internal armored volume, and improved the working conditions for the crew.
The tank is also equipped with a modular complex of dynamic protection of the third generation "Relikt", lattice anti-cumulative screens protecting the sides and stern from being hit by anti-tank missiles and grenades.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod handed over to the troops a new batch of T-90M "Proryv" and T-72B3M tanks.
