With a Dodge V6 engine and a Chrysler "box": a hot rod based on the 1968 GAZ-51 was presented in Minsk

The car is highly cross-country due to the air suspension and the new frame

The Westmotors team presented a bright hot rod based on the 1968 GAZ-51. The unusual car was shown at the "Tachki Cyber" auto show (held on May 5, 2025 in Minsk).

The unique car combines a powerful 3.8-liter V6 engine from the Dodge Grand Caravan and an automatic transmission from the Chrysler 300C, shortened by 30 cm to improve maneuverability.

The car's suspension was created from scratch. A four-link design with air shock absorbers from Iveco was installed in the front, and a Mitsubishi Pajero axle with air bags in the rear.

Thanks to the air suspension and the modified frame, the car can be lowered almost to the ground, and raised by 12 cm while driving. This ensures excellent cross-country ability and comfort.

The interior of the car also deserves attention. It includes a homemade leather sofa, a custom steering wheel and an electronic speedometer.

Earlierwww1.ru reported that a unique "Volga" isbeing sold in St. Petersburg.
