RT-Mutual Insurance (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has announced the launch of a new type of insurance service to protect against aviation risks, the state corporation's press service reported.
The new insurance program provides complete protection for the aircraft, covering both minor breakdowns and serious damage (up to the complete destruction of the aircraft).
We offer insurance coverage for such cases, which guarantees the payment of monetary compensation in advance, in fact, before the documents are provided. In addition, we are ready to insure aircraft on a turnkey basis and mitigate any risks at all stages - from R&D for the creation of new types of aviation equipment to test flights and transfer to the customer. Insurance may include, among other things, military risks, such as those associated with drone attacks.
Insurance of aviation risks under the mutual insurance system has already begun to be used by enterprises of the UAC, UEC and Russian Helicopters holdings. This mainly concerns the insurance of test flights of helicopters and airplanes, including those carried out after repairs.
