To effectively repel attacks by unmanned boats (BEC), the military needs to be equipped with new aircraft-type drones capable of conducting surveillance and search, as well as engaging detected targets. This was stated by military expert Boris Rozhin.
According to him, the drone should have a high-resolution camera that allows it to work from a height inaccessible to the boat's air defense system, regardless of cloud cover.
In addition, a drone of this type should have a large range for long-term duty, the ability to control an entire squadron of such UAVs without interfering with each other, the ability to change aircraft in the air, as well as relaying for backup, secure communication, a jeeper, and a high-quality video signal.
With a high-explosive fragmentation warhead, loitering and controlled, not afraid of the specifics of water, so that it can flood areas, with detonation a couple of meters before contact with the surface.
