The application "Booking.com Hotels and more" with the note "big novelty" unexpectedly appeared in the Russian application store RuStore. This caused surprise, since in 2022 the company removed all Russian hotels from its platform, although it did not block users' personal accounts.
It is worth noting that in the version downloaded from RuStore, Russian hotels are still absent. Thus, Booking's presence in the Russian store looks more like a technical opportunity for users to manage their bookings abroad than a signal of the service's return to the Russian market in full.
