A scientific consortium for protection of the atmosphere from pollution has appeared in Russia. The agreement on its creation was signed by "VNII Ecology" (part of the Ministry of Natural Resources), NII "Atmosphere" and a number of other industry organizations at the "Atmosphere-2025" congress.
The director of VNII "Ecology", Alexander Zakondyrin, stated that the consortium will unite experts with extensive experience in solving air protection problems. Specialists will provide high-quality expert opinions for the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
The list of approved methodologies that have passed the examination should be constantly updated. The real sector of the economy really needs this today
The consortium will be engaged in scientific and methodological support for air pollution calculations, emission quotas and the development of automatic control systems at enterprises.
