Catch a Fish Big and 10 Meters Long: Shipbuilders of USC "Caught" a 5-Ton Metal Roach for the Astrakhan Festival

The Astrakhan Fishing Festival "Roach – 2025" has been held since 2005

In Astrakhan, at the production site of ASPO of the Southern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center of USC, shipbuilders created a ten-meter metal roach. The unique art object weighing five tons was lifted onto a floating crane, where it hung at a height of more than 60 meters.

The creation of a large-scale symbol of the region is timed to coincide with the traditional festival "Roach – 2025". The new metal fish will become not only an attraction, but also a symbol of Astrakhan shipbuilding, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.
