Nikita Kislitsyn, Technical Director of the F6 cybersecurity company, stated that the totality of all leaks in recent years covers almost the entire economically active population of Russia.
He noted that information about any citizen showing any activity can be found in these leaked databases, which is actively used by attackers.
Since the beginning of 2025, there have been 67 cases of publication of major data leaks from Russian companies. This is 28 less than in the same period last year. At the same time, the total number of "leaked" records almost reached 100 million — Kislitsyn emphasized that this number is comparable to the country's population.
According to him, leaks remain one of the main cyber threats for Russian businesses, despite some decrease in their number. He explained this by active blocking of closed Telegram chats where databases of attacked companies were distributed.
