The first shots of the Lada Iskra prototype in a station wagon body have appeared online. The car was transported by a tow truck based on ZIL-Bychok near the AvtoVAZ office in Togliatti.
The footage shows that the prototype is painted in blue. The wheels, apparently, are 15-inch radius. There are no details about the interior and technical equipment of the new promising model at the moment.
Mass production of Lada Iskra will begin on April 19 with a limited batch of three cars per day.
Iskra will reach full capacity only in the second half of May after a pause associated with the re-equipment of the line.
The first Lada Iskra cars have already arrived at AvtoVAZ dealerships. Most likely, these are demonstration models.
