According to preliminary data, while performing a combat mission, the Russian tank ran over a mine and lost its mobility. 11 pieces of ammunition were dropped on the T-90M from a drone, and after that it was hit six more times by FPV drones.
However, all this was not enough to destroy the Russian combat vehicle. Already in the morning, the Russian Armed Forces servicemen managed to tow the damaged tank to a repair shop. At the same time, the machine did not receive critical damage and will soon be restored and return to service.
The T-90M "Proryv" was first shown at the "Army-2018" forum, the tanks entered service in 2020. Serial production of vehicles at "Uralvagonzavod" started in 2021.
"Proryv" is a modernized version of the T-90 tank platform, the main functional difference is a new turret with the "Kalina" fire control system with a built-in tactical level combat information and control system (CIUS), a new model of the 2A46M-5 gun and a panoramic sight for the commander.
