Temporary road markings for rehearsals and the Victory Parade, which will take place on May 9, have begun to be applied in the center of Moscow. Specialists are marking Tverskaya Street from Pushkinskaya Square to Red Square, where six lanes with a length of 1,084 meters each will appear. Yellow lines will also be applied at the intersection of Tverskaya and Mokhovaya streets, as well as on Manezhnaya Square.
The Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Petr Biryukov, noted that this marking will help military equipment navigate during rehearsals and the parade itself.
The works are carried out at night with partial restriction of traffic in this area. A special yellow nitro paint is used to apply the marking, which is clearly visible in the dark and resistant to weather conditions. Drivers are asked to be more careful in these areas.
The yellow marking is intended only for the movement of equipment involved in the Victory Parade. The movement of cars is carried out according to the usual scheme.
It is important to be careful and follow road signs to avoid unpleasant situations.
