The company "Sollers" is preparing to introduce several new models in 2025. This was announced by the head of the company, Nikolai Sobolev.
Sales of the Sollers SF1 van will begin soon, and applications are already open. An updated Sollers Atlant van is also expected, which will be equipped with a new version of the automatic transmission. The company also plans to launch an Atlant XL version with increased length and payload.
At the end of 2025 - beginning of 2026, Sollers intends to launch local production of a new frame SUV of its own brand. It was previously reported that the new product would appear on the market next year, but, according to Sobolev, there is a possibility that this will happen earlier.
The SUV project is already in its final stage, and certification will be completed by the end of the year. In the near future, the team will begin product testing of components and assemblies. For the new car, the power unit will be localized, including the engine and gearbox, as well as almost all stamped body parts and safety system components. The cars will be assembled at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant on a full cycle.
It is expected that the SUV will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 200 hp in combination with an eight-speed automatic. The new product is based on the JAC T9, which has common roots with the well-known Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser SUVs.
Prices for the new models will be announced later.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Sollers saw a trend towards localization of car production in Russia.
