Specialists from Roscosmos enterprises transported the upper stage to the assembly and test building for storage until preparation begins.

The "Fregat" will be integrated with the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle in order to subsequently launch spacecraft into various near-Earth orbits and departure trajectories. The launches of the Ionosphere-M satellites No. 3 and No. 4 will take place in the near future.

The "Ionosphere-M" satellites are part of the Ionozond space complex, which is being developed to monitor space weather. One of the main tasks of the satellites is to observe the Sun and the ionosphere (the upper layer of the planet's atmosphere with a high concentration of free ions and electrons).
