Specialists from Altai State University (Altai State University) have created an innovative device for planting seedlings, which significantly speeds up the process of planting trees. The installation ensures a stable furrow depth, minimizes air voids and prevents soil shedding.

By pre-loosening the soil, the machine increases the planting speed of seedlings and reduces the consumption of fuel and lubricants. It also reduces wear and tear on equipment.

In front of the coulter, on both sides of it, there are disc knives, and the milling cutter, with the possibility of being driven by a hydraulic motor through a V-belt transmission, has a width equal to the width of the coulter and consists of a disc with G-shaped knives fixed on it. Installing a disc milling cutter in front of the coulter reduces its resistance by pre-loosening the soil and increases the planting speed.
