Specialists of the all-Russian project "Archangel" for training drone piloting presented a new drone of the same name. The drone is capable of hitting various objects at a distance of up to 50 km and develops a speed of up to 280 km/h, said the head of the project, Mikhail Filippov.
According to him, the Archangel drone can "completely change the picture on the battlefield." In its design, the ammunition resembles a winged cartridge, and its characteristics differ from conventional FPV drones.
Can reach speeds of up to 280 km/h. The guided missile can be used both from the ground and from an aircraft carrier. The warhead can weigh from 700 grams to 7 kg. This weapon can hit not only dugouts and equipment, including unmanned boats, but also, for example, communication and retransmission towers at distances of up to 50 km.
Test samples have already passed the first tests. In the future, the model will go into mass production.
