At sunset, Roscosmos photographed the Soyuz-2.1a rocket and the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft, which were delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome launch pad on the morning of April 5.
At the end of the day, Roscosmos presented many pictures of the "Victory Rocket" in its official Telegram channel, emphasizing that it looks simply amazing at this time of day. The rocket launch will take place in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Earlier www1 noted that the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket and the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft is scheduled for April 8 at 08:47:15 Moscow time. The Soyuz MS-27 crew includes members of the 73rd long-term expedition to the International Space Station — Sergei Ryzhikov, Alexei Zubritsky, Roscosmos cosmonauts, and Jonathan Kim, a NASA astronaut.
