Reshetnev Company discussed the results of the development of the Yamal-501 satellite concept. The discussion involved representatives of the customer, Gazprom Space Systems JSC.
As a result, the project appearance of the spacecraft was approved. Reshetnev Company also decided to start work on the design documentation for its production.
The Yamal-501 satellite is being developed on the basis of the Express-1000 platform, which is distinguished by its versatility in the field of satellite navigation. Its task is to provide a variety of communication services and broadcasting in the interests of Russia.
