The Roselectronica holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has developed new MKA-07101S reed switches for surface mounting on electronic boards.
The devices, created by the Ryazan Plant of Metal-Ceramic Devices (RZMKP), are compact and resistant to extreme conditions. They are capable of operating at temperatures from -60°C to +125°C, humidity up to 98% and withstand impacts of up to 150 joules.
The 7 mm long reed switches do not require a plastic case, which reduces the weight and dimensions of the final devices. They are planned to be used in aviation and marine navigation systems, medical equipment, as well as in industrial automation.
The development is aimed at replacing imported analogues and reducing the cost of production. The enterprise, the only one in Russia that produces such components, already supplies them to domestic and foreign manufacturers.
