The introduction of a digital profile for migrants will begin in Russia on June 30. The innovation will replace the traditional paper patent.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this at a meeting with deputies. The new digital profile will have a unique identifier, which, according to Mishustin, will simplify the migration process.
You still need to prepare to replace the paper patent.
According to him, in the future, the new system will greatly simplify the lives of migrants and improve control over their activities in the country.
Mishustin also said that almost 640 thousand migrants are illegally in the Russian Federation. They are included in the relevant register. The politician added that a high proportion of illegal migration could become a threat to public stability
