Experts at the "Autostat" agency have calculated that there were 2 million 157 thousand motorcycles registered in Russia by the beginning of 2025. Of these, more than 55% of all motorcycles are produced in Russia.
Japanese motorcycles are in second place in popularity with a share of 13.1%, and Chinese equipment occupies the third position with 7%. The top five also include Belarusian (6.6%) and Czech (6%) brands, while the share of motorcycles from other countries does not exceed 5%.
The leader among the brands is "IZH", which occupies 27.6% of the entire motorcycle fleet with 594 thousand units. In second place is "Ural" with 275 thousand motorcycles, and the third position is occupied by "Voskhod" with 175 thousand. The three domestic brands together make up almost half of the entire market, which indicates a growing interest in Russian motorcycles.
