The current owner of the enterprise will continue to operate

The assessment is no longer underway. There is no deal anymore. And there won't be.
Andrey Kostin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of USC

Kostin clarified that USC "does not yet have the funds" to acquire Zvezda, "and there is an effective owner there, who will continue to operate." Therefore, "the topic is closed."

In November 2024, Rosneft and VTB announced the start of negotiations for the inclusion of the Zvezda complex in the USC contour. Kostin noted that the issue of the shipyard's entry has been principally agreed upon, and the parameters of the deal will be discussed after assessing the financial condition of Zvezda, which was to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
