The Ministry of Transport of Russia has made changes to the draft rules for tourist trains. Now passengers are granted the right to two mistakes in the ticket. The corresponding document was published on the official portal of the ministry.
A passenger is allowed to travel if there is an error in the last name, first name, patronymic, series and number of the identity document specified in the travel document (ticket). At the same time, no more than one error is allowed in the last name, or first name, or patronymic of the passenger, and no more than one error in the series or number of the passenger's identity document specified in the travel document.
The rules will come into force on September 1, 2025. For long-distance trains, the same assumptions will apply.
