Впервые в истории человечества: пять ракетных запусков за день

An unprecedented number of successful rocket launches were carried out on March 15

On Saturday, March 15, humanity set a record in astronautics by carrying out five successful launches of carrier rockets in just 12 hours and 32 minutes.

SpaceX performed three Falcon 9 rocket launches from Vandenberg Space Force Base in the USA in 13 hours.

The Electron carrier rocket successfully put the QPS-SAR 9 Earth observation satellite into orbit. The launch was carried out from the Mahia spaceport (New Zealand).

A Chinese Long March 2D rocket was also launched from the Jiuquan spaceport with a classified payload.

This figure significantly exceeded previous achievements in the field of launch activity. All launches were successful, and various spacecraft were put into orbit.

Initially, it was planned to carry out seven launches, including the launch of the Alpha carrier rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base and the Angara-1.2 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in Russia, but these two launches were postponed.

Despite these postponements, the intensity of launches on March 15 remains unprecedented in the history of astronautics.
