The "Roadside Assistance" service, based on the state information system "ERA-GLONASS", has significantly expanded its presence in Russia. It is now available in 14 regions, including Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Kursk, and Volgograd. Previously, Voronezh, Lipetsk, and Rostov-on-Don were connected to the service.
Every fifth car in the country, which is more than 12.3 million vehicles, is equipped with an SOS button. Drivers can quickly call for help in emergency situations.
To receive the service, simply press the SOS button in the car and inform the operator of the need for technical support. The operator, knowing the exact coordinates of the car, will contact the driver to clarify the details.
Managing Director for Product Development at ERA-GLONASS, Artyom Klimovsky, emphasized that having an SOS button within arm's reach makes the service convenient and accessible. The service allows you to avoid unnecessary hassle in stressful situations when it is important to get help quickly. JSC GLONASS continues to develop new services aimed at improving the safety and comfort of car travel.
