The export version of the VAZ-2109 hatchback with zero mileage, manufactured in 1992, has reappeared on the market. The car is being sold in Tolyatti.
The car has retained its factory condition: the doors still have seals, and the interior has never been used — no one except the factory receiver has ever sat in it. All parts, including the tires and battery from 1992, are original.
Three years ago, the car was valued at 7 million rubles, but no buyer was found. By March 2023, the price had risen to 10 million, and now the owner is asking for 15 million. The price increase is due to the uniqueness of the specimen: it is the only known specimen in such condition with a full package of documents (certificate-invoice, receipt from the 1992 car shop).
The model is equipped with a 1.3-liter engine with 64 hp and a 5-speed manual gearbox. A distinctive feature is the "low" dashboard and gray interior, typical of export versions. The car has not undergone pre-sale preparation and has not been registered with the traffic police.
The seller is positioning this "nine" as an object for a collection or a museum exhibit. The high price reflects the rarity status and perfect preservation, which makes it more of an investment asset than a means of transportation.
