On February 7, at 18:13 Moscow time, an M1.1 flare with a duration of 16 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in the group of spots 3992 (S05W75).
Class M flares can cause temporary radio communication disruptions and minor disturbances in the ionosphere, but they do not guarantee powerful geomagnetic storms on their own.
