The social network VKontakte has introduced the ability to format text in chats.
Users can now highlight words in bold, italics, or underline, as well as add clickable links to words. The update is available in mobile applications, a separate messenger, and the web version of the service.
Animated stickers are displayed full-screen when sent or received. Digital avatars vmoji have become more detailed: improved rendering of facial features and expressions, which allows for more accurate transmission of mood in dialogues.
New options have appeared in the video call section. When demonstrating the screen on mobile devices, users can activate the broadcast of the soundtrack. A function has also been implemented to generate unique links for online meetings, preserving the history of correspondence within the call.
Separately, the update affected the work with business accounts. All notifications from companies, including permitted mailings by phone number and correspondence with communities, are now automatically sorted into a special folder.
